This is what I call serendipity

Serendipity means a "fortuitous happenstance" or "pleasant surprise". And what a joieus serendipity is to fall in love, isn't it?

"Paperman" is a 2012 black-and-white/3D/hand-drawn/computer animated/romantic comedy short film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and directed by John Kahrs; it won an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film at the 85th Academy Awards.

How is a baseball game in Korea

Recently, while in Korea, I got the chance to go to a baseball game in Jamsil. It was my 2nd time there, and of course I was wearing my team's jersey!
Baseball in Korea is brilliantly different from what you are used to -- that is if you are from the Western side of the world and you watch US MLB.
I am dear to say that my team is LG Twins (for the most obvious reasons), even though they are not having the best season at this moment... Anyhow, what makes the game night interesting is not the game itself (odd!) but the spirit from the bleachers, the fans, the cheerleaders!
This is a video from someone that went to a game 2 days after me, never-mind: the crowd is as energetic as you will expect.
Odd! But a lot of fun! Thanks Gary, we had a blast!
And of course, Gangnam Style was played :)

Thunder-Thunder-Thundercats, hooo!

I must confess, I grew up hooked to the original series back in the 1980's, enjoyed a lot the re-runs in the 1990's... but now with the new series (started 1 year ago, and close to end the 1st season) it's fair enough to say that I enjoy to still be a "kid".

Mi visita a "Sukhi"

  • armése con un poco de paciencia ya que como la comida es preparada en el acto demora un poco (pero no mucho, no se asuste);

Open Happiness (Coca-Cola Christmas add)

The Holidays are coming!

This 2010 Coca-Cola Christmas advert is called Snow Globes, even though is not the "classic" delivery-truck-with-lights commercial we used to see in the 90's, it still adds that concept -- which I love, since for me seeing those lighted vehicles go by is a simile of "let's start the Christmas season" (pop culture quote and pause here please).

So, you'll see how in a town (like this), inside a snow globe, its inhabitants experience the spectacular to the magic of Christmas Eve, by the means --of course-- of Father Christmas shaking the artifact, while drinking a Coke (and everyone noticing because of the "fizz"). Featuring Train's "Shake Up Christmas", this is an add that I pretty much won't get tired to watch...

Anyhow, enjoy the video... Most likely I'll post some more in the coming days (let me just surf a little for that).

Meanwhile: the Holidays are coming! ♫

2 Rules for Successful Presentations

Presentations go wrong for various reasons, but the most common is poor preparation. These two rules will make sure you're ready before you step in:

1- KNOW your audience.
Speeches are about the audience, not the presenter. Be sure to know who you're addressing; size, attitudes, and emotional state of your audience should affect the length, style, and content of your presentation.

2- Tell them ONE thing.
It's sad but, audience members remember very little of what they hear. Keep it simple: focus on one idea and eliminate everything that doesn't support that idea.

10 ideas to project positivism

Fact: in life everything will (eventually) gravitate toward positive people; so if you desire to be gravitated you have to shine positivism. But, alas, I'm not saying that everything should or will be sunshine and fresh-air scent all the time, nor that you have to impersonate someone else, but (of course) there are ways to extend that bliss and power up your a PA (positive attitude). In order for this, these are a couple of good pointers I came across recently -- be my guest and add yours!
